About
Since 1990 Quartzdyne has been the world leader in designing, developing, and manufacturing the industry-standard resonating quartz pressure transducer for the downhole oil and gas industry. Our sensors are world-renowned for providing extremely accurate, low-drift, and high-resolution data under the most extreme conditions. Our transducers and hybrid electronics are widely used in downhole tools and monitoring systems across the industry as well as wellsite surface applications and laboratory use.
We are ISO 9001 certified as a company, and our facility is certified as a green building.

1965-1979Improving Lives
Quartzdyne’s Vision is to improve the lives of our customers, employees, shareholders and the community of which we are a part. We strive for this by being the leader in downhole pressure tools, through our superior employees, products, and partnerships.
Quality Policy
At Quartzdyne, quality is first in everything we do. We are determined to provide quality products and services that customers recommend, employees are proud of, and stakeholders value for long-term returns. This is accomplished through focus on continuous improvement, high integrity, employee development, and exceptional leadership.
We ensure that all products meet advertised specifications and all customer issues are dealt with in a timely and thorough manner. Appropriate system and process performance indicators are used to identify potential improvements in the company’s capability and capacity.
Green Facility
Quartzdyne is committed to sustainability. From our green Headquarters to our products, which enhance the efficiency and productivity of oil and gas companies, Quartzdyne seeks to foster a healthy environment for our employees, our customers, and our world.
We’re proud to manufacture precision pressure transducers and other downhole instrumentation that enhance recovery of hydrocarbon reservoirs. Enhanced recovery reduces demand for new drilling and the resulting environmental impact. Similarly, we’ve sought to sustain the environment with our energy efficient facility.

The Rocky Mountains surrounding Quartzdyne’s facility are a constant reminder of our connection with the environment. So when we considered a new facility to accommodate growth, we designed it with sensitivity to the environment in mind, while carefully weighing capital and operating costs.
Quartzdyne’s new headquarters achieved Silver Certification with the U. S. Green Building Council’s LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) program, which is the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction, and operation of high-performance, sustainable buildings.
The following list includes some of the ideas we have implemented to achieve that certification:
- Ultra-high-efficiency HVAC system, which captures and manages process energy while dynamically adapting to a broad range of outside weather conditions
- Sun-tracking skylights in the manufacturing area
- High-efficiency windows in offices and common areas
- Incorporation of recycled, renewable, and locally-sourced building materials
- An extensive recycling program started during construction and continuing today
- Preservation of native wetlands adjacent to the site
- Water-efficient landscaping
- Low-volume and dual-flush toilets
- Preferred parking for carpool vehicles and high-efficiency or alternative fuel vehicles -Showers and indoor bicycle storage for those who choose to cycle to work
Please view our sustainability sheet to learn additional details of these and other measures that contribute to Quartzdyne’s sustainability initiatives.
